BKH Group partnered with valued client Built to deliver the formwork package for the new Griffith University Village student accommodation project at Griffith University’s Gold Coast Campus. The project involved the construction of student accommodation, requiring a tailored approach to formwork and structural edge protection to suit the building’s unique façade layout. BKH Group worked closely with Built to coordinate the structural requirements and support the safe and efficient progression of the build.
BKH Group completed the formwork package, including the installation of a customised edge protection system incorporating perimeter edge screens and specially engineered precast screens. Designed to accommodate the project’s specific structural configuration and meet strict work health and safety requirements, these systems supported safe working conditions throughout construction. Through close collaboration with Built and a focus on quality, safety and efficiency, BKH Group successfully completed its scope, contributing to the delivery of high-quality student accommodation for future Griffith University students.
