Project Details
The Harbourside Residences project for valued client Mirvac is a landmark residential development in Sydney’s Darling Harbour, showcasing BKH Group’s expertise in delivering complex construction systems across basement, podium and high-rise tower works. The project brings together a range of specialised formwork, shoring, edge protection and jumpform systems, tailored to the requirements of each construction zone. From hydrostatic basement walls and podium slabs to the tower’s structural core, BKH applied proven systems and technical expertise to support the project’s progression from foundations to the upper levels.
BKH Group delivered critical temporary works solutions throughout the project, including custom-designed, in-house fabricated perimeter screens and an ACSA jumpform system that progressed from basement level 4 to level 49, completing 57 pours across more than 175 vertical metres. The team successfully managed the removal of 32 perimeter screens and a screen stair box, as well as the jumpform dismantling ahead of schedule, supported by detailed planning and close coordination with Mirvac and BKH Systems. These achievements demonstrate BKH Group’s ability to deliver complex, large-scale temporary works safely and efficiently in a constrained CBD environment, providing reliable edge protection, supporting construction progress and enabling the transition to façade and completion works.
