Project Details
BKH Group played a key role in the construction of Western Sydney International Airport, Australia’s first major airport development in more than 50 years. Working alongside long-term client Multiplex, BKH Group contributed across all three core divisions—Formwork, Scaffold and Concrete—supporting the delivery of major infrastructure works across the terminal, east and west piers, landside facilities and fuel farm. The three-year project involved extensive and complex construction requirements, showcasing the scale and capability of BKH Group’s integrated service offering.

BKH Group delivered more than 15,000 tonnes of Kwikstage and PERI Rosett scaffolding, including two 21,000m³ birdcage structures for feature ceiling works and specialised 15-metre-high crane-lifted scaffold systems. The Formwork and Concrete teams installed 60,000m² of bespoke table form systems, placed 2,000m³ of concrete and delivered complex elements including feature cone-shaped columns, 14-metre-high vertical pours and 13 custom ACSA core boxes. Through technical expertise, innovative solutions and close collaboration with Multiplex, BKH Group supported construction efficiency and contributed to the delivery of this landmark Australian infrastructure project.
