The Crown Sydney Hotel Resort will be the first six-star international hotel to be built in Sydney. Its unique location and design at Barangaroo will allow delivery of a landmark building of global significance on one of the world’s most beautiful harbours.

The unique design by Wilkinson Eyre which is derived from a sculptural form reminiscent of three twisting petals has created a structure that has never been built before.

BKH has been engaged by Lend Lease and Crown to provide many of structural solutions in the completion of this elegant building. Our scope includes a complete formwork packages comprising of self climbing core systems, self climbing screen systems to façade, formwork for the tower, casino and basement works, table systems to hotel and tower floors, perimeter scaffolding to the podium floors and high strutting shoring solutions.

In partnership with our key suppliers and with 12 months of BKH design and planning we have now completed the early stages of structure on site and are progressing well with our implementation of new systems to this project.

We are looking forward to the challenges in completing this project over the next 2 years in what will be a once in a lifetime project.
